1. To Enthrone (worship)

Our purpose is to worship God

  • Jesus said that God the Father wants His people to worship Him-

For it’s not where we worship that counts, but how we worship – is our worship spiritual and real?  Do we have the Holy Spirit’s help? For God is Spirit, and we must have His help to worship as we should. The Father wants this kind of worship from us.
John 4:22-23 (Living Bible)

But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Your people.
Psalm 22:3

2. To Engage  (evangelise)

Our purpose is to reach out

And then he told them, “You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.”
Mark 16:15  (Living Bible)

But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
Second Timothy 4:5 (NIV)

3. To Empower  (teach, train and equip)

Our purpose is to grow

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Second Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)

4. To Encourage  (fellowship)

Our purpose is to come together

You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.
Hebrews 10:25 (NCV)
