Our Pre-COVID-19 5:30PM Sunday Service (suspended until further notice)
Our Sunday evening service is at 5:30PM and is early enough for even young families to attend together. We have 2 or 3 worship songs, a time of prayer, testimonies, and preaching. On the first Sunday night of each month we have leadership training. This is open to anyone to attend.
Our Home Groups
Home Groups are where small groups of people gather each fortnight in people’s homes to share together, study God’s Word, and pray together. We have Home Groups around Launceston and the Tamar Valley. When you connect with us, we can refer you to one of our Home Groups to help you connect more personally.
Our KiDS Church
Happens on Sunday, just before the preaching commences, our children aged between 3-11 (Pre-school to Grade 6 Elementary/Primary School) go out to our KiDS Church for their age-appropriate Bible classes with a great team of workers under the leadership of our KiDS Church Coordinator, Mrs Lois Kidmas.

This group is led by Alex Nielsen, with assistance from Tom Ferguson, Jack Sladden & Scott MacKenzie and is overseen by one of our elders and our Executive Pastor, Tony Boyle.

Q. Do I have to dress up for a Sunday service?
Q. Is parking a problem?
A. No. We have ample off-street car-parking for up to 200 cars. Our facilities reside on a one hectare property (about 3 acres). We have spaces reserved closer to our auditorium for the elderly to park, and several spaces adjacent to our front door for the disabled to park.
Q. Is there special places to sit in a Sunday service?
A. No. You can sit wherever you’re comfortable in the congregational seating.
Q. Is there somewhere for nursing mothers to tend to their infants during a Sunday service?
A. Yes. We have comfortable lounge chairs in a specially set up part of our foyer with a live feed HD TV where parents can sit or settle their children. We also have a crèche where parents can feed their babies or change their nappies in relative privacy.
Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. Yes. We have purposefully built our facilities with access ramps to accommodate those who are mobility challenged.
Q. Are there people my age attending Legana?
A. Chances are very good that there are. We have people from nearly every generation attending Legana. (Unless of course you are over 105 years of old. Then we might struggle.) We have programs for children, youth, young adults, and seniors.
