BACKGROUND
These study notes were originally written over the course of one year
as part of a three year discipleship programme for small groups. Several
more years of revision and updating were then added to the original effort.
I was increasingly concerned that Christians saw no place for theology
or "doctrine" in their lives. Yet, we are all bound by these belief systems
whether we realise it or not.
The study notes were put into a bound book form and approximately
200 copies sold independently. Because I have put about five years of
effort into this project, and my conviction is that availability and
accessibility is more important than any rewards I may receive from
selling bound editions of this book, I have decided to publish this
study book on the internet.
It would bring great encouragement to me if churches, small groups,
or Bible Study Groups, adopted these studies as a part of their discipleship
programme. Please observe and respect the conditions of use:
AGREEMENT
The user is licenced to use and freely distribute these study notes on
the condition that the author, Andrew Corbett, is duly acknowledged.
This is not for vanity or ego, but for accountability.
Secondly, the author makes available for sale bound editions of this Study
Book at $20 (Australian). While notes may be freely copied and distributed,
some may prefer to support the author's efforts by ordering bound editions
of the work. Therefore, under this agreement, the user is NOT authorised
to sell the contents of this Study Book in any form.
