Legana Christian Church started life in 1987 as Legana Family Church founded by a group locals under the leadership of Graham Austin. In 1992 Philip Morgan was invited to take over the pastorate of what now had become Legana Assembly of God. In 1995 Phil relocated to Devonport and by divine appointment Andrew and Kim Corbett were sent to take over the leadership of the church.

In 1996 a new facility was completed in Gerrard Close (just off Bridgenorth Road) on a 1 hectare site allowing the church to move from its rented hall into its own facilities. In 1998 a Kidz Church chapel was completed.

In 2002 the church commenced its radio program FINDING TRUTH MATTERS which is now broadcast across Northern Tasmania. Along with this, LeganaMEDIA was established as an audio/video ministry producing CDs, VCDs, Television ads and now DVDs.

It is our vision to be a dynamic church for all the family reaching our community and beyond.
